Having two small preschool children has taken it's toll on my exhibition schedule. Gone are the annual studio open houses that my wife and I hosted with great food, beer and wine and of course great ceramic and furniture art. The light is showing at the end of the tunnel though, and maybe the open houses will return soon! Stay tuned.
The following is a brief list of the significant exhibitions I've had in the last few years.

A two person show with the painter Jamie Chase, this show inspired me to both work in a larger scale and to explore the possibilities casting concrete for exterior furniture.

A lovely show of chairs organized by the Southern Highland Craft Guild. In addition to The Blue Ridge Parkway's Folk Art Center, the show also traveled to the Leigh Yawkey Woodwon Art Museum, the Wellington B Gray Gallery and the High Point Museum and Historical Park.

I'm
pleased that one of my most recent pieces, "In the Realm of The Senses"
will be shown in "Curv-iture: Studio Furniture Celebrates the Curve",
a show organized by The Furniture Society which will take place at their
annual conference in Savanah Georgia, June of 2004.
The show will then travel to the Hickory Museum of Art, Hickory, North
Carolina from October 2, 2004 to January 9, 2005. Following that it will be
at the Gallery of Art and Design, North Carolina State University, Raleigh,
North Carolina from January 26, 2005 to March 6, 2005.

A recent chair of mine, "Illusions of Grandeur III", was included in
the PostPicasso.com
"Distinguished Chairs" show, which ran from August 1, 2004 to September 9, 2004.
