"Illusions of Grandeur V"
27" H  x 24" W  x 20" D

Recycled wood & steel, acrylic, milk paint.

"Broken Sphere Bench"
32" x 21" x 72"
Cherry, poplar, concrete, milk paint
One of my more "conceptual" pieces, this bench is a statement on
human kinds often uncomfortable and precarious relationship with nature.

"78# Stool" 2000
24.5" x 17"dia
Poplar, found spring, milk paint.

Made for a stool show at the Tercera Gallery in Palo Alto,
this piece was purchased by a proctologist who just loved
how the whoopee cushion felt. Even better was the fact that
the doctor just happened to be an avid collector of stools.

"Bench With Two Stones" 2000
19" x 21" x 66"
Koa(wood), poplar, milk paint, concrete, found steel

This piece plays with one's perceptions, as the wood stones seem to almost float when handled, since a person expects them to weigh considerably more.

"Half Moon Bench" 2001(exterior bench)
18" x 18" x 47"
Cast concrete, found steel

I've always been drawn to concrete as medium for furniture due to it's common and ubiquitous nature in our world.

"Venerable Spheres" 2001

Found redwood, rocks, cast concrete

"Spring Bench" 2005
28"x 22" x 73"
Reclaimed redwood, found steel, concrete, stone.

This is a fun bench suitable for a bouncy sort of individual.
It is currently on display in the courtyard of the San Francisco Museum of Craft and Design.
